If I buy F1 2022 on Steam, can I play with my friend who bought it on Origin ?

Origin and Steam will not be able to play online together. When crossplay is introduced later in development, then all platforms can play together in supported crossplay modes (Social Play and Two-Player Career modes)

I havent bought it yet.. but when i do i will be buying it on STEAM put a bit of money in a proper company that does things right.

@iZeRoo_x You need to contact EA-Support. But don’t be to ambitious, if you bought it on Origin itself I wish you luck but if you got via keyseller, say goodbye to your money. A reseller won’t give you a refund for already used codes.
if you look on the storepage from Origin for F1 22 it’s stated: „Crossplay for all platforms comes post launch“
We don’t know when. But atleast we know it’s coming for F1 22.
I got it for Origin too. No refund and no help.
Buying it on Steam when my loan comes in.

On an multiplayer racing game u don't need crappy items for customising, let us race together.
Thank you EA that its not possible to play on the same platform XD, hope that u got enough money due to the people who had to by a second copy of the game to play with their friends.
