Overtake Safety Car

Because they arent clever enough to code it into the game. That or the EGO engine is too rubbish to allow it. Either way, it's been ignored for years. They will never fix this.

I'm not quite sure but I remember you could overtake the safety car as a lapped car when you are right behind it without getting DSQ. But don't quote me on that. But of course the issue still remains since as soon as there is another driver between you won't be able to overtake.

Yeh, you can overtake the SC until it picks up the leader, then you’re screwed if you’re a lap or more down and there’s cars in front who can get on the lead lap or a lap ahead

@Logoo69Yes, that's the "old" rule. But since last year's Verstappen/Hamilton "incident" the rules has been changed so even if the leader is in front of the pack behind the SC all lapped cars can still overtake them, if safe to do so.

Workaround: what we do during a League race is asking people to drive offtrack, that way its save to pass everyone including sc. It works everytime. If i am right putting your car in ai mode will do the trick too (ain't sure).
