Re: Bahrain strategy 100% race distance

@Nuvolarix One thing to note is that, with the new tire temp update, tracks that had lots of consecutive & long winding corners are gonna hurt the SSM strategy quite badly due to soft tires tend to overheat a lot easier.

When the tires are over 101 degrees, you'll easily lose a second or more due to the massive lost of grip, and with those tracks mentioned above, even with the lowest pressure setting the S tires might still reach such temperature.

@Apophis-STR yes thank you for the tip, according with my pace tests I should be able to keep temperatures down and still having a good pace, but it’s surely a point to keep in mind especially in a possible battle 👍

    That’s a +1 for M-H strategy

@Nuvolarix The recent trend by the way is H-M instead of M-H, as the hards are so extremely difficult to warm up after pitstop. Have a look at streams of PSGL, WOR etc.

@QUALLENFISCH yes that’s true thank you, the formation lap helps to warm up the H. It’s only a bit sad, never seen a P3 IRL in the grid starting with H ☹️

This is really hurting me on career mode. The outlap on hards is so difficult and i end up losing so much time to the cars around me. Doesnt seem to effect the AI as much as the player.

i might try starting on hards

@ajobling1983 you're right, although a little reluctantly I'll take it into consideration too.

Perhaps @EA_Kent  could follow the discussion and verify if the AI has the same difficulties with cold tyres, it would greatly benefit the realism and also the playability

@Nuvolarix I dont think the AI suffer from tyre temps. Probably just programmed to be slightly slower on outlaps. Because they zoom off into the distance way too quickly.
