Just in case you are stoopid enough not to pick up the issue, here's a video of me explaining it:

Hello EA.
This is your daily reminder that the issue is not yet fixed!

Is the problem fixed yet, no. Reminder!

Is anyone from EA looking at this forum anyway? It doesn't seem like it..I work in a similar company, and we take the community feedback VERY seriously.
The minimum I expect for them is to REPLY! Share you empathy and give some information on what are you doing about it.I personally have that problem on PS5 split screen.
Others have it all the time in different machines and controller.
Seems like a core issue in some FFB microservice or something like that.

I'm wondering at the amount of people complaining. I imagined a much bigger protest for such a core issue!

Honestly this is ridiculous... How hasn't this been fixed yet. The feedback on the PS4 controller is shockingly low even with the maximum feedback settings...

So the cat is out of the bag, I didnt know about this. Seems like they are prioritizing the game for the E-sports guys on making the game as bug free as possible. For the rest of us, not so important.
I know that the esport competitors are waiting for a new update soon. As far as I have information on it is a esport build that EA is polishing for multiplayer to the esport community only.
Seems like they are more important than the rest of us. Even tho its the rest of us who buy the game that keeps this game alive on buying it.

So in my opinion we are the one finding the bugs so that codemasters and ea can fix the issues so that they can have a smooth sailing in the esports league.
Absoulutely mindblowing and a rotten thing to do to us.

disgusting but doesnt surprise me one bit
pure Sc*m - Ileleee3 years agoNot applicable@StefanKrunic97 For what is it worth, I just tried this same test, both on Series X and on PC-Steam. I used Elite 2 controller on both and then also tested normal Series X/S controller on PC and also Dualshock.
I felt the vibrations in both scenarios, wheelspin and locking up during braking in all of those combinations of controller/system. On xbox, it feels the vibrations from wheelspin and locking up are on the triggers only (and on that controller, the strenght of the vibrations is clearly higher in general than on normal Series X controller), but on Steam it seems to be both, on triggers (slight) but also on the main controller rumble. In any case, I felt the game giving feedback about wheelspin and locking up just fine.
Dualshock I guess don't have trigger rumble, so it was just the controller rumble, but again, felt the feedback in those two scenarios. It rumble wasn't that strong, but I didn't have hard time feeling it either.
As for feedback from other scenarios, feeling the rear tire grip and all that in all situations (I do get some rumble when turning, indicating grip on the limit)... didn't test that, but it's not very very clear on a non-DD wheel, which is how I usually play the game.
Anyway, it's clear that this is not a universal issue for all players.
btw. this was my first try on the controller on PC, so who knows, maybe the game, or steam etc. has stored some bad data prior any fix that still causes the problem to happen for some. - StefanKrunic973 years agoNew Scout@Ileleee Would you add me on Steam and write me a message so I know it's you? I'd like to research this a bit more ?

@Ileleeeif you ever played F1 2021 and 2020 with controller, you will instantly see the force feedback's difference between this game and last year's one, the controller vibrates only when the car is lost. When you go in traction wheelspin or lock, the vibration is just.. not there. Stefan also marked on his video that even PS4 Controller doesn't work and i can confirm that. this is a serious issue and i have league race next month and i know right it will be pain. i wonder how much longer shall we wait until this gets fixed, but they rather fix irrelevant glitches (such as the number 23 that can be picked and tbh no body cares about it.) this issue had to be fixed at the release but nope.

F1 2021 i had no issues what so ever. Good feeling on the car with good feedback from the controller and triggers. Ive given up this game. I only get pissed off trying to play, so Ive wasted my money on this *. Too bad they dont care fixing it. I used to play in a esports league and loved it. But now i am not competitive with this issue so i dont attend to it any more. That really sucks.
- Oesi_F13 years agoNew Vanguard@Rammsailt I feel your pain. Last year I was there or there about pacewise with some of the faster guys. This year I was absolutely nowhere at the start and only now (2 months!!) with lots of strange calibration and ffb settings I'm starting to crawl back..
- Ileleee3 years agoNot applicable@Reviyy I'm trying here to say that it wasn't the case for me, I got the vibrations from wheelspin (so I can feel the traction), wheels locking and even during more tight turning while still having the car fully in control. I just double checked on Xbox using Series X controller and I can do the same double check later on PC (PS4 controller as well), which felt quite similar when I tried it yesterday.
I only have F1 2021 on XBox, but not downloaded so I cannot do any comparison right away and not for PC at all. I play with a wheel, but I'm doing a co-op career with a friend who uses pad (crossplay, I'm on PC, he on xbox). We did 4 career season on XBox for 2021, so using a pad in both games is familiar to him and he never has complained that the pad feedback would be missing like that in F1 22.. so beats me.
I'm not saying that there isn't a problem for you or others, it's just an observation this is not a universal problem for everybody. Not sure what is the cause here. - Ileleee3 years agoNot applicable@StefanKrunic97 I'll do that when I have bit more time to help
- Reviyy3 years agoNot applicable
@IleleeeThat's fair enough, but i'm getting frustrated for this because it is taking too long to fix and i'm almost dropping this game for how annoying it is to play without force feedback. I hate to say it, but for how disastrous F1 2021 was compared to F1 22, last year's game was pure gold.

Seems like there are some veteran players here who suffer a lot … can any of you start a riot on social media (reddit, twitter… you tell me what a the right platform) to try and get some attention from EA on this?
Adding more comments here doesn’t seem to move the needle.I find it hard to believe that this is a small matter that can just be ignored but them.

So ive just played again, some TT and an online race with my friends. And now the vibration felt like it should on both tiggers and the controller it self. This also happened on the previous patch, but then a new patch came and the FFB went away again. Dont understand this at all. Cannot trust this one bit. Sometime it works, sometime it dont. Shouldnt be like this.

I can't feel understeer or oversteer, tyre slip with Thrustmaster T150. Is this normal for this wheel? Happens in F1 2021 also
- Rammsailt3 years agoNot applicable
History repeats it self. Yesterday i had trigger vibrations. Today, a new small patch. After download and verifying files, deleting f12021 hardwarefiles and checking all drivers are up to date. Tested the game. No trigger vibrations, AGAIN. Are u SCREWi ng with us? I wanna puke at this sh"#
- Oesi_F13 years agoNew Vanguard
So anything?
I fear this will go down the following route:
We will be ignored for further few months, and around February they will post, that "unfortunately" this issue will not be resolved in this game. Just like they did with NHL 21 where a very similar problem with vibration occured, was reported over and over again, but was ignored and not fixed.

No Trigger Vibrations? Not too big of a deal...
At least you don't experience your controller FULLY VIBRATING IN SPECTATOR MODE, as I keep experiencing that when the cars I spectate brake hard or go over kerbs or have poor traction or slide... That is worse than not having Trigger Vibration.
- StefanKrunic973 years agoNew Scout@mantazzoLTU It's a huge deal man. Makes it impossible to be competitive. My controller is also FULLY vibrating in spectator mode and I have no vibrations for my own car on top of it.
- mantazzoLTU3 years agoSeasoned Scout
^I mean, at least you can still have general vibration, which is partially workable...
(Though I still liked the force feedback before 1.07 patch a lot more, after messing with settings I somehow managed to get road feedback on my pad and I felt much faster all of a sudden)
- StefanKrunic973 years agoNew Scout@mantazzoLTU Would you share your settings please?
