Sorry, mate. What do you mean?
Yes, there will be the same sort of telemetry service as always. There's a good thread about it pinned to this forum already. If you mean dedicated apps, there's Codemasters own RaceNet service but that has yet to make a splash. Now for third party apps, that's all up to third party developers but there's no reason to assume we won't be seeing support for F1 22.
Specially given how the game usually offers a legacy UDP protocol to work with old applications.

He might mean do you see telemetry in the garage to go over with your engineer?
Surely this is a realism that needs to be in future games at some point, immersion and driver education.
At least I think that's what he means 😉
- mariohomoh4 years agoHero (Retired)@SteveJackson Whoosh. That flew by me!
Race programs' result screens and respective telemetry are back. Don't know to what extent but I'm not expecting more than what we used to have up to F1 2020.
No new telemetry elements in the HUD that we know of. - dwin204 years agoRising Hotshot
@SteveJackson @mariohomoh Was looking for telemetry that you would review with your engineer...
This has been a major shortcoming in the game over the years. In terms of third party it looks like Iko Rein is going to update to F1 22 - have not heard/seen anything yet in terms of PXG Telemetry... Are there others you are aware of?
Thanks

There are a few. From the top of my head there's Hotlaps by Driver61 and Track Titan but they go beyond basic telemetry logging and their full suite of services isn't free i think.

I really like the Driver61 site and have spent time going through the videos. Unfortunately their telemetry client is only available on PC, and my setup is a PS4 and a Mac.
I see that that track Titan does have a MAC client - but first time I have seen this site. Your take on them? Thanks
- mariohomoh4 years agoHero (Retired)@dwin20 No way to run the client on a VM or the like? Sorry, I'm definitely out of the loop on all things Mac.
Track Titan seems to be somehow backed by Fanatec. Not sure, just recently found out about them, but you'll see their Youtube content being featured in Fanatec's own channel sometimes. Haven't use the app much yet as I've been playing mostly ACC on the PS5 - and console versions have no way of logging telemetry, unfortunately.
I like their content though. Still rough on the edges, but good. If that's any indication of how they process and analyse your telemetry, then I'll probably recommend them once I get back to F1 for good.
There are lots of other apps though, including Android (and maybe iOS?). I remember using others back in the day before settling with PXG and Iko's. I'd really like to see in-game telemetry but I don't think we'll have it this year. There is a change to one of the practice programs that is a baby step in this direction but not one that the YouTubers I've seen share this seem to fully understand.
This video should start at an example of what I mean:
- mariohomoh4 years agoHero (Retired)@Ultrasonic_77 I've seen some of his videos before. Seems like a good chap, but a bit too clueless too often. I usually just skip his stuff.
Anyway, I would love some real time telemetry on the HUD. Maybe a little graphic like the one for car damage, but indicating when and which wheel is breaking traction and when you're bottoming out?

If Anthony ends up streaming full league races on YouTube I'll probably watch as that's hard to find. Most just post highlights or stream elsewhere.
