I've had the same problem and I thought my controller had a problem. What is going on is that while taking that right turn...the steering control gets suddenly assigned to the Dpad so after that I have to use my Dpad to steer. the car instead of the stick.
This has happened to me a lot of times in F1 22 but does not happen on f1 21.
I am going to hold off on buying the game until this is fixed.
