Stuck in loading screen - 2 player career

Summarize your bug In 2 player career, my screen is black, and says "waiting for players". While I'm on that screen my brother is on the screen where you sit at a desk with a computer, in the top left corner of his screen it says that I'm busy. We can't continue because I can't click on anything, and he is waiting for me.
Which area is the bug/glitch in? Driver Career
How often does the bug occur? Occasionally (10% - 49%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? It happened after he disconnected while we were loading into the Imola race. I'm guessing that his console believes we didn't get into the race, while mine believes we did, and now we're just stuck.
What happens when the bug occurs? One screen goes into a loading screen, while the other is on another screen waiting for the player on the loading screen.
What do you expect to see? We would expect that we're both on the same screen, so either we're both loading into the race, so we can start the race or we're both sitting at the desk with the computer, so we can go into the race.
My brother and I can't continue with our F1 22 co-op career because my game won't load. It is stuck on a black screen and says "waiting for players". We have restarted the game, restarted our consoles, and I've removed him from the career and added him again, but nothing seems to work.
I'm on a ps4 & he is on a ps5.
