Please, for the love of God, remove the throttle limiter when the safety car is about to go back to the pits. It's one of the most irrealistic, frustrating and horrible things in this game.It was removed in F1 2021 and then added back for whatever reason, and I'm yet to see anyone saying that's a good thing.It prevents you from warming up the rear tyres during the last sector of the circuit, get closer to the car in front for the race restart, and sometimes it plain and simple prevents you from having a decent launch, you get swamped by the AI and lose several seconds.I play with no assists for a reason, stop forcing them on me.*insert Bottas quote*

Yeah, I'm not giving up on this. Especially since no one from EA/CM even aknowledged the issue.I've yet to see anyone liking the limiter.I get that some player may need it, but it's incredibly dumb to push for realism and force people who actually want to play properly to have this stupid limiter shoved down our throat. ESPECIALLY after putting such a big importance on tyre temps. By this logic then don't give an option to disable any assist. Give us full TC and ABS without the option to disable it! (Sarcasm)Either remove the limiter, like you already did on F1 2021 after all, or give us an option to disable it if we so choose.

@EA_Kent Could you please at least pass the idea to the developers and see what they tell you, if there's any chance to revert it? This feature is truly awful.

@CoreyKBSome casual players probably did not let the SC go away long enough, so by the time the lead car was ready to race, the SC had not entered the pits yet. But I might be wrong and there is a different reason to casualise this thing.

@Blackbird90 You're right, that might be the case, but I think it's still just a flimsy joke of an excuse by the developers. Just like there is a driving assists tab and a rules tab, they shouldn't force this kind of features on players who don't want them. It would be like forcing everyone on pit entry assist turned on because some casual players didn't slow down enough on pit entry.
You either turn on the limiter if you don't want to deal with the mechanic, or you get penalized if you don't allow the SC to enter the pits before resuming racing.

Same issue, tires cooling down too much when safety car is coming in, resulting to being overtaken on restart (cause AI have insane acceleration out of the last corner and perfect tire temps).

Has anyone tried backing up a lot as leader, and restarting 3-4 corners before the last one?
at least EA could put a delta for the leader until the SC is in the pits instead, would be much more sensible.

I think this was the reason but as usual it was handled poorly. It should be an option like ghosting.
If this option for 'controlled safety restart' is enabled then everybody's tyres should be locked to temperature during this period as Its impossible to to get keep them at temp once the rev limiting starts
Its horrendous with this new safety restart you either get left by the AI or in an online race somebody from well further back who was not as tightly jammed at the front with the rev matching has managed to keep optimum temp and comes sailing through
