Forum Discussion
It just blows my mind that they ask us to report issues with the game, with a forum totally dedicated to it, and we find the biggest, most glaring problem with it and they refuse to fix it. With 3 and a half months gone since it was first reported and with another 5 or so months left in the game's life cycle, just wasting time. Their logic is so backward, unhelpful and unproductive to the game itself. It's still the first Codemasters F1 game to be stuck at Mixed reviews on Steam, and I've seen some reviewers explicitly mention the lack of Medium tyres.
That's not to mention a whole bunch of other glaring issues that have existed since release, that I and others have reported and they've done nothing to fix them too. It's shocking. It's like one of those half-baked games you get on Steam that's chucked out with the Early Access tag and then abandoned after 3 months because the devs got their money.
How is it so difficult to give us an extra set of medium tyres for a race? Is it because of the introduction of Sprint races and they've realised that they've messed up somewhere and implementing this will break them?
What a mess...

Not your intention I know but that's downplaying the significance for me since the game has about 9 months left of its lifecycle, not 5. Plus of course people will continue to play F1 22 after (presumably) F1 23 has come out.
