All teammates muted during Pro Clubs Drop-Ins on PS5

Hey,

For some reason, every time I play a drop-in match in pro clubs on my PS5, I have to pause the game and manually un-mute every other person on my team. This takes maybe 20 seconds to do because of UI lag, and usually results in my player winding up with the ball while I'm not controlling them.

Is this something that is intentional and experienced by all players??

If so, what design or community principle drives the choice? If not, what can be done to resolve this?

I can find absolutely zero official acknowledgement of this by EA, and hardly any more users bringing it up. Since both sides have to perform this 20-second ritual, it means that there's essentially no communication between you and your team members, and this means the games are basically a crap-shoot as far as strategy goes (and a whole lot less fun).

What's the deal here?
