I don't know how closely FC24 adheres to the actual selection criteria.
The selection process for the Ballon d'Or is in the form of a vote by journalists selected by France Football.
This may simply mean that it is the player who has been talked about throughout the season.
Or at least a player with an OVR of 90 or higher?
I have also won the Ballon d'Or five times in a row in career mode, but I remember it was at an OVR of 92 or higher.
But this is all speculation and, in fact, only EA's development team would know.
Appreciate you for the info mate. I'll just grind to 90 and see what happens, still don't like that your football performances aren't the main measure of success for getting nominated and winning it
