Good Cup run even if are making hard work of lower opposition. While there still plenty of games remaining The FA Cup or Conference League could well be best shot at making it.into Europe next season.
Not a terrible run in the league all things considered and must have been frustrating against City. A loss may have been anticipated, but at the depth makes it that much harder to take

Yes, that was a frustrating one. I also hope to avoid the Citizens winning the title, secretly hoping that Arsenal will take it... or even Liverpool (though it's hard to admit)... So that was a game I would have wanted more from, especially being a goal up at the interval.
I agree that the FA Cup and the Conference League are my best title hopes, and my most likely way into Europe next season. I actually wasn't aware that a Conference League title gave you access to the Europa League, but it seems that it does, so I do have two shots at it, if I fail to climb the league.

I can feel the pain coming through the text as you say or Liverpool ๐๐
As for Conference League I think UEFA had to add that little incentive cause I couldn't see anyone putting in the effort to win a new European tournament no one asked for if it didn't progress them

Great run of matches and into the top 6 with a game in hand in the league, a cup final and potentially another one being lined up.
For what started out as quite a slow season could be ending quite successfully. Still gotta win the matches tho and plenty to work on going forward.

Yes, I could end the season with two titles. It's been some easy paths though, not facing ANY Premier League sides on my way to the FA Cup final, whilst the Conference League has also been straightforward with 12 wins in 12 games. But hey, a title is a title, and I'll take it.
You're right that there's still plenty to work on. I still have 20 points up to the league leaders, and obviously it's the main goal to close that gap eventually.
EDIT: Sorry, Conference League form at this point is 10 wins in 10 games. I accidentally included the semi final results in the count ๐

Heard a rumour that some player named Zorgane could be making his way, maybe could be the missing piece ๐๐

Have you ever heard of "crossover-episodes" in TV shows?
I was watching the "Brooklyn nine-nine" show, and one episode apparently had a crossover with a different TV show called "New Girl". I didn't know this at first, so I just saw the Brooklyn nine-nine protagonist stop a civilian's car in order to commandeer it and pursue a criminal. But then I learned that the driver was actually the protagonist from the other series, and that the incident also happened in that show with a police officer suddenly stopping her car to use it in a pursuit. This was brilliantly made IMO.
So perhaps I should make a "crossover signing of Adem Zorgane from Leeds" in my story, even though he would actually arrive from another club in game. I usually don't "make things up" like that, but perhaps it's something one could consider from time to time. I'm also a year behind anyway, having started in 2023 in game and 2024 storywise.

Not gonna lie, I was almost very tempted to mention you and career in write up with it especially after mentioning he was at Celtic in your Rangers career so would make logical choice it would.be your United career you'd sign him ๐
Random question as assuming you've played there at least once this year. When playing at West Hams Stadium does it feel like your on a different camera angle?
Dunno if I'm going crazy, but when i.had that break from the game one of my first matches was away to West Ham and it felt all weird changed the camera angles etc then found musekd changing back next game, have since twigged it's everytime I'm at that ground it feels different viewing level, dunno it's it's cause of layout and used to be athletics ground too or if I'm going crazy ๐

Firstly, I would actually love if bits and pieces from my careers were somehow used in other people's writeups. Perhaps it's difficult, if I'm 6 seasons in or something like that, and others are in their inaugural season. But even if all facts don't match 100%, I could see some fun in taking something from another career and use it productively in one's own. So please do, if you feel that temptation again sometime.
I'm not sure about the London Stadium. As perceptive I am in regards to player likenesses etc., I have to admit that the stadiums rarely catch my attention. My only "complaint" are some of the arenas, where the back of the goals are like triangles rather than squares, if you know what I mean? That just look like something from the 1970's, and it just catches my eye in a bad way.
But no, London Stadium or any other REAL stadium, I haven't noticed anything strange on any of those.

Good end to the season overall and a a cup double preventing Arsenal from doing a Domestic Treble provided a little extra joy.
Top 6 whilst expected from Man United probably felt a long way off a few months ago after a slow and stuttering start to the season seemingly way off the pace more so in attack of remember rightly.

Yes, Arsenal were certainly the preferable option to win the league, but I didn't really feel like them winning all three domestic titles. Plus reaching the semi final in the Champions League as well. Good season for them. Liverpool were also knocked out of the semi final with a first ever El Clasico to decide it. Barcelona eventually winning it 1-0.
With a better ending I might have got a 5th place, but top 4 was a closed group this season, and I was far away from getting an invitation there. As you say, my attack simply wasn't good enough for that, so that has to be the focus for the new season.

Breaking news Leeds United were ๐ค that close to signing Emile Smith-Rowe but we're priced out of the move then bringing in Anthony Gordon instead while Smith-Rowe joins rivals Manchester United instead
Couldn't resist when I saw the signing, I nearly signed him during previous window but was priced out of the move and took the cheaper Gordon option ๐

Haha, how fun. I almost opted against it with his recent injury record. I'm not sure it would be a good idea to sign other easily breakable players, now that Mount's hardly played a game yet and Lisandro Martinez also happens to be out of the squad again and again. But I suppose that's also what it takes for a club like Arsenal to allow him to move away. And at ยฃ16m it was very hard to resist.

He was a lot more expensive and playing in Spain I think in my career can't remember off top of my head but definitely wasn't at Arsenal. Think he was 83/84 ovl not much higher than Gordon at time but fee they wanted was over 45mil

Yes, that is way above the fee Arsenal required in mine. But there is a logical explanation for that.
You know I started in the 2023 summer in game, but in the 2024 summer in the story, meaning that the story was actually a year ahead. And since the beginning of my save, I had noticed a fair few headscans being added in the game, among others for Teden Mengi, whom I would like to bring back to the club. So I quickly had an urge to start over, but also wanted to keep the story going for some time.
In the end I finished the season and went into the new season to play the Community Shield, also to see the draw for the UEFA competitions. And then I went out of the save, made my in game transfers manually, promoted and relegated the clubs that was supposed to do that and voilรก. Now I've started a new save, once again in 2023 in game, but with the story continuing from 2025. I haven't done it like this before, but I saw it as a way to avoid wanting to start over already. And there are also some perks to it, with opponents being recognizable for a bit longer and players being 2 years younger in game than they are supposed to be in the story. I expect this to be the last time doing this though. I also want to promote some academy graduates at some point.
