Career Mode OVERALL BUG!

I’ll start out by saying I never experienced this issue last year…

I am an avid Career mode and pro clubs fan. It’s really where I find the most joy when playing this game. Unfortunately that joy has come to an end, due to the fact that there’s an annoying bug glitch within career mode. I’ve tried researching ways to work around this bug, I’ve restarted my game, I’ve deleted files and restarted a brand new career (which sucks when you’re well into a second season). The bug from what I got is the following. If I change any cosmetics, any Positions, height weight, anything in the “edit player” tab, and then I go back to the main career/ player hub where I can advance through the schedule, my overall will show a horrible 72 or earlier in the season a 65. When in reality I’m an 85 overall. This is horrible because it affect my player’s game play as well, to perform as a 72 or 65, which is insane considering I’m well into my second season!!! Also if you go to the player growth you can see that my stats are insanely high and do not correlate with the rating their given in the piechart!!! Please fix this as I’ve seen multiple others complain about this issue! I’ll attach evidence. By the way I play on PS5 psn is Jaiiwann I’ll attaching proof! The screenshot shows I’m rated a 72 overall! Even though my pace is in the 90s!!! Make it make sense!

  • Has there been a fix for this? I as m having the same problem and it’s so annoying. I can not progress in the game at all.

  • @JaiiWann THERE IS A TEMPORARY FIX: The issue is that your player from career mode is somehow linked with the skill points allocated to your pro clubs player, here’s what to do to fix the problem.

    1. Go into player career and deallocate all of your skill points (remember where you put them for future use)
    2. Quit the game. On console, this means closing out of the app and returning to your home screen, on PC this means quitting the app entirely
    3. Go to your device’s network settings and take yourself completely offline
    4. Enter EAFC 24 again and DON’T connect to EA Online Services
    5. Reallocate your skill points and enjoy your accurately rated player!

I’m not sure how you will be affected if you close the app and go back online after this, or what going online after you’ve launched the game will do, but this is a temporary solution. I know it’s a pain, but imho it’s better than having to restart a perfectly good career mode save especially when (like me) you’re already 4.5 seasons in!
