Career mode tactics

Is it possible to copy the standard team tactics into career mode? I've just noticed my team is using the standard formation, but the tactics and player instructions are not the same as the default team layouts in kick off mode for example. Is this by design? I'm assuming it's due to the new "tactical vision" functionality resetting the default tactics?
