Child limits on playing clubs

My 14 year old son has an FC24 game on Playstation 5. He can access online games with his friends in ultimate team, co-op seasons etc

His friends have a club on Playstation4 version. When he has downloaded the playstation4 version to join their club, his account shows he cannot join due to parental controls. He is able to join clubs when logged into my adult account. I cannot see that I have any privacy settings on his account which should prevent him accessing online gaming. Any ideas why he cannot play clubs on the PlayStation 4 version of the game?  Thanks
