Club just vanished?

Me and my friends had a club with over 400 games played, level 8 reputation. We havent played in a few months but were hoping to get back into clubs only to find the clubs just been deleted?
Have seen online aparently this a thing if you are inactive for over 90 days. What an annoying system.

So now if we want to play again we have to start with a level 1 club and play with a huge disadvantage against higher level clubs with high rated AI players.
