Clubs Drop-Ins Are Awful to Play - Here's a Fix!
Hey everyone,
I just wanted to vent a bit about how frustrating Clubs drop-ins have become lately. It feels like every match is ruined by players constantly calling for the ball, trying to dribble past everyone, and just generally not playing as a team. It's really taking the fun out of the game for me and, I'm sure, for many others too.
I’ve been thinking about a potential solution to this problem: implementing a quota system for how many times you can call for the ball from the bots. Here’s my idea:
- Start with 12 Calls: Each player begins the match with 12 calls.
- Gain 1 Call Per Minute: As the match progresses, you earn 1 additional call every minute.
This way, you can still call for the ball when you need or want to, especially at the start of the match. But as the game goes on, the restriction ensures that everyone gets a fair chance to touch the ball. If someone is either really bad and calls for the ball every single time or is just being an idiot, this system would limit the number of times they can disrupt the match for everyone else.
I think this could really help make drop-in matches more enjoyable and fair for everyone. What do you all think? Would love to hear your thoughts and any other suggestions you might have!
