@JustinCase0110Onana is a strange case. He did not make mistakes that often previously. I wonder if the pressure of being at United is getting to him or if he's just low on confidence now.
I'm a fan of Rashford but it looks way off this season. I see people saying he was only playing well last year for his contract but I hope that was not the case.
Rashford, yes... He's on the receiving end of a lot of online criticism these days, especially targeting him as a "selfish" player. I don't believe he is though, I just think that the decision making in the final third is his worst attribute. The other day he had a one-on-one with Muslera, and it almost looked like he was afraid to shoot, in stead trying to find Bruno Fernandes in the center. Last year he would have put it in, no doubt. This tells me that the online abuse it getting to him, and that he is indeed trying to be less selfish. Trying to improve. He did in fact play well in large parts of the game though, better than a long time, and he also made a great assist to Højlund. Too bad the team fell apart after a number of individual errors, cause then we seem to forget these things...
Onana, well, I like the way he seems to take responsibility of his mistakes. De Gea never spoke out like that, even though he made tons of costly errors too. Now it also seems Onana will skip the ACN to fully focus on improving at Old Trafford. So I do like his character, and I do like his footwork, apart from the terrible mistake against Galatasaray. But we must never forget that playing it out from the back always comes with an increased risk of making mistakes. His goalkeeping? I don't know about that. He makes the occational "TV save", where he looks solid, but then he also comes off too light sometimes, especially allowing the Galatasaray player to lob him too easily the other day. He hasn't been helped much by a leaky defence though, so I do hope he will improve in this regard.
