Well, but what if Ajax were actually relegated, and EA then chose to add a second tier in the Netherlands, so that they - and the stadium - would still be in the game. Aren't they a partner club? This could actually come out as a positive mate. 😉

Suspect adding them to rest of the world would be more likely. That's what they did with Rangers (and Wrexham).

You're probably right. No need for wishing them to be relegated then. In the end I also really don't see it happening anyway...

...River Plate also I think. I don't remember them being removed from the game when they got relegated.
The same thing has been done with Juventus in PES 6 for example, so I think it's a sort of "habit".Dunno if this is another bug or some dumb BS have a player that has told me they wanna leave because the lack of game time is damaging their career. They play pretty much every game since they been available to me. Came out of nowhere previously he was telling me he is 100% again and raring to go before that they asked if they gonna be in squad as they were playing well lately etc and were happy because they played these messages were after consecutive games so the whole bang I wanna leave came out of nowhere especially as started or come on as sub in majority since January and just at end of March

I'm now on my 3rd player demanding to leave as they are not getting the games and damaging their career. 1 is my leading top goalscorer and plays almost every game. They other has played almost every game since January and now I have a player whom is rotated a lot, but apparently they came to me needing a rest which apparently I ignored and now they annoyed because I apparently didn't play them in the game I just played them in. It's getting stupid. I except it happening occasionally because in reality it does. I'm trying to ignore them for now.in hope situation goes away, but Buckley who started this off is now got a green smiley face for morale, but I still can't remove them from transfer list nor negotiate a new contract with them
- @thurlow885 that does sound incredibly stupid! I don't know what I'm doing, since this hasn't happened to me yet, now nearing the halfway point of my second season. Well, I did see Kasami force himself on the transfer list in the first season, but he hardly played, so I can't say there was anything questionable about that reaction. I hope your experiences were just a few freak incidents of bad luck, and that you'll soon have an easier time keeping the band together.
Speaking of morale, most of my players are quite miserable though. I haven't paid much mind to the training etc., often getting e-mails that I could benefit from making this or that training schedule with this player. So if I was to experience any real morale issues, this would probably be an area, I would feel the need to explore to make things better. - @JustinCase0110 It is rather frustrating especially when it's not even correct. Players getting angry because I didn't play them when they actually started the game, only issue I can possibly think of is I may have subbed them off. Hoping it's something that calms down in Season 2 as there doesn't seem to be anyway of changing their minds even if play all games since and morale changes to green.

It's very poor programming by EA (nothing new there!).
The "I needed a rest and now you've not played me" rubbish I experienced a lot in Fifa 23, but I tended to ignore them, other than to reply with the response that gave the biggest boost to their morale.
The only thing about the players demanding to leave (and it's too late to prevent that with the ones that have already made the demand, which is also a stupid bug that you can't convince them to change their mind) that I can suggest is to pay attention to the contract status of players. If it goes into thumbs down and you don't address it (even if their contract has 3 or 4 years to go), it's more likely that they will demand a transfer, especially if their morale goes into dark amber 'very unhappy' (the stage above the red one).
If you fix their contract, they are less likely to demand a transfer; at least, that's what I've found in the past. I'm halfway through a season (end of 2023) and some players (with either crucial or important status) are not satisfied. Which is great, because neither am I about them, otherwise I would have played them more. Fortunately for me, Ajax are indeed thinking of dumping some of the new players immediately.
So my laptop just crashed this weekend. Had some time off and wanted to play some, write some, post some, but the screen went black, and now I need to buy a new one (the other was also REALLY old) and find a way to extract all my files...
Until I get this sorted, I'll avoid playing with Sampdoria, so I won't fall way too far behind on my posts. Hopefully I'll soon find a way, so I can pick up again, where I left off. In the meantime I'll have a quick little play around campaign with Rangers, until I get my laptop situation sorted.

No, I'm playing on PS5, so my laptop issues have nothing to do with the game itself. Which I actually thoroughly enjoy.
So it's only my story creation that's troubled by this...

🤣 in general? In general, I am going through a football fan crisis as the situation at Ajax as worsened. We are in 17th now!! The manager finally has been sacked and after a week (Brighton, PSV) with the assistant taking honours, november 1st we ought to get someone new..., someone that overperforms (that's the key word in Dutch media now). Names such as Hjulmand (Denmark national football team), Knutsen (Bodo/Glimt), Jonk (Volendam) are being mentioned, though I know deep in our hearts we all hope for Louis van Gaal to do it one more time! (though it's very improbable due to age and health reasons).
But overall, it has been a frustrating year as an Ajax (football) and Ferrari (F1 racing) fan.
How's it going everyone?! I'm finally getting around to picking up FC24. You know I will be starting a Spurs CM soon. All the excitement from real life Tottenham right now has me excited to play.
@Danimal5981 I feel bad for you man. I read through the comments here, Ajax being in this position is shocking to everyone and makes me sad. I love watching you guys play in the Champions League and taking on the rich clubs. I'm confident it will be turned around but this might be a rough season.

@LABoog4 @ Thanks, but recovery on international level won't happen until the end of the decade. Not to worry, most of the current players will still be 26 or younger.

- @LABoog4 Tottenham look exciting right now and gotta feel for Harry Kane at this point, imagine you had this attacking style manager while he was there now Spurs looking good and he's gone to a guaranteed league title currently in 3rd place 🤣 I'm sure it'll all balance out come end of season. I still expect City and Bayern to win their titles, but good to see a much improved Spurs side.
I've had to take a little time out from my Career, life busy and already behind in posting an update so waiting til I have a bit more free time again.. hopefully next week At the risk of repeating myself (though what's written on the FIFA forums doesn't count anymore, hehe... ) but I truly think that prolific, clinical finishers such as Robert Lewandowski and Harry Kane are overrated as football players. Great strikers, but not the hanger you'd hang the rest of your outfit on. As much as Lewandowski tries he can never take Poland far, in a way that Messi can with Argentina or Ronaldo has done with Portugal. And the same goes for Harry Kane: a striker is as good as the supply he gets.
And Bayern always have a relatively conservative start to their seasons. Second half of the season, it will go as smooth as a rodant's treadmill and they'll add another title, you'll see.
Probably say that about most traditional English Centre Forwards probably others but I know the English ones better. Shearer, Lineker and Teddy Sherringham for example. Without the balls into the box they ain't getting as many goals especially first 2. Sherringham adapted his game a bit. One thing different about Kane is I believe he tracks back better and is a ball winning attacker.
Haaland is possibly another example, fantastic finisher, I feel he can do more tho, but it does seem to be get the ball to Haaland and he shoots and scores maybe over time that'll change as going forward him and Mbappe will likely be a main comparison and Mbappe right now is the better all-round player while Haaland is just a goal machine.
I don't know as much regarding Lewandowski, but from what I have watched especially Poland games it was get the ball to him and hope he does something proper target man. I think I've seen most compare him with Benzema and again to me I think Benzema edges it as he better all-round player (from what I have seen) than Lewa who like Haaland is waiting for the ball to come to him.
- @Danimal5981 I'm a little bias but I don't think Kane is the typical striker like Lewandowski. The last three seasons at Spurs he played a more creative role, he even led the league in goals and assists one year. He can play as a typical stay in the box striker and he can drop to midfield and create. I have no idea what he's playing at Bayern as I never watch them.

I get your point, and I feel the same about a player such as Erling Haaland. Great goal scorer, yes, but he lacks this ability to create things for himself, which is why I also don't believe he should be considered as a favourite for the Ballon d'Or. Despite scoring 54 goals in 54 games, or whatever the stat was. Disappearing in big games, while also relying so hard on his teammates, I just don't rate him as one of the best footballers.
I disagree that Harry Kane is the same "limited" type of striker though. He does in deed drop down in midfield quite often, making himself available in the buildup play etc., making the surrounding players perform better too. On the contrary, I do actually find the last years' version of Cristiano Ronaldo to be rather limited. Great goal scorer, yes, but doesn't do much else IMO. That wasn't the case in his youth, of course, but in recent years I've seen him turn into more of a great goal scorer than a great overall footballer.

No holiday here, except not being able to post recently. I still haven't been able to access my Sampdoria files on my dead laptop, so that one is still sleeping. In stead I've come quite a way with Rangers, and while I initially didn't plan to make a story about that one, I may have changed my mind and will try to make a quick and rather fast-paced summary of the first season with them.
