Nice, mate. And welcome! I've done that myself a few times, usually by starting a Player Career with an ageing player, then retiring him at some point, choosing one of the proposed clubs to coach. So over the years I've had Mascherano, Seedorf (icon, I think), Ibrahimovic, Rooney and perhaps a few more on the sidelines for me. More fun than just creating one, I think (I'm also terrible in creating any likenesses). Anyway, good luck, I look forward to see what you do here.
That is a great idea to use a player that is older. I was going to create a fake manager but maybe I will look at older players and see who might be a good fit!

That would make sense for everybody, wouldn't it? Donny reviving his career, Ajax getting some experience and a familiar face back, United making room for someone else to fill the gap.
I'm sorry it hasn't worked out though. He does seem like a genuinely good fellow, just poorly scouted, I think, being played too deep in midfield, in stead of being the adventurous goalscoring version we saw at Ajax.
Anyway, I know I'm ruining it now, but before I do, it's funny to see the Career Mode and CMS sections having the exact same amount of replies. CMS from a significantly lower number of topics though.

The difference is that we form a small, select community with love for (career mode in) the game, while the other thread are individuals each with their own complaint. Positivity works!
