I think he will get some time; certainly until the end of this season, but history is littered with clubs having a change of command higher up and the manager going not long afterwards.
I think he'll also find that his influence on player signings is much reduced, from 'who' to 'what positions, and what type of player', and as I understand it from @Danimal5981 that's how it was at Ajax.
I saw Casemiro in the FA Cup semi last season, and I thought it looked as if his legs have gone. I would NEVER have signed a player of that age on a 5-year contract.
I agree he has improved discipline (or at least, tried), but why the players are worse otherwise is a bit of a mystery.
I heard a rumour that the Sancho situation is disturbing some players. The rumour I heard was that the big issue with him and ETH is that Sancho had a go at ETH for continually playing Antony when the latter was clearly not doing the business, but obviously that's a rumour.
I also remember in 1988 United fans screaming for Ferguson to be fired...

Yeah they really did. And speaking of Ferguson, he would never have given a 30 year old a 5 year contract either. In fact, back then there was a rule that players over 30 would only renew their contracts with one year at the time. However, it was also a different time back then. Someone like Scholesy, he would just sign the paper, not asking questions about the numbers or anything. You don't see players do that these days, or their agents for that matter.

I did not see Henderson to Ajax coming. That's a surprise move. I wonder how good he still is after teaching 6 months off pretty much.
So my PlayStation account has been hacked. I suddenly received an email saying my email has been changed then I started getting charges to my card for games I did not buy.
I can't log into my account now and the only thing Sony says is delete your information and create a new account. So frustrating!
As I feared, I lost all games purchased online under my old username. After creating a new PS name, I do not have any save files!
Looks like I'm starting over and buying FC24 again.

That's awful mate! Perhaps being an old-fashioned disc preferring guy isn't so bad after all...
Discs is the way to go. I never would have thought if you were hacked, Sony would just say sorry and tell you to start over. It still blows my mind.

Trouble is, they can't catch these people and, even if they did, they would probably get off on a light penalty. I really sympathise, mate.
I've NEVER been tempted to do anything other than always buy the discs - until, that is, they finally phase them out.
It's pretty bad that Sony won't accommodate your request, though. If they've had to block your old account (which presumably, they have) then it's obvious that they need to get you up and running again. Sony did not lock me out, the hackers did. They changed the login email so I can't even try the reset password method. Sony was acting like I'm the one trying to hack in by getting them to change it back.
I used to buy disc's but then signed up for PS PLUS for the deals and free games. But I will be going back to discs for sure now.
