Me too. It has its dings and flaws, but I thoroughly enjoy it too. I'm also not attracted to the online modes, so I'm just continuing to explore the universe of Career Mode.
I just saw Ibrahim Osman signed with Brighton. Funny to see a player I didn't know until this career and now he's suddenly coming to the PL.
Same with Diomande going to the Rangers.

I agree, it is funny. I once signed this young striker from Lech Poznan. Didn't know much about him, just seemed like a good fit for a striker. Some time later he joined Dortmund IRL as a backup to Lucas Barrios, who was Klopp's preferred number 9 at the time. But then the young striker became a starter for Die Schwarzgelben and lead them to back to back Bundesliga titles, one of them being a first ever domestic double for Dortmund, also qualifying them to the Champions League final after scoring all 4 goals in a 4-1 win vs Real Madrid in the semi final.
I think we've all had our Freddy Adu's too, players who were good and promising in the game, but never made it on the big stage IRL. But it is funny, when we are sometimes able to find a real gem in game and watch them develop into great real life footballers later on.
I had a lot of players who turned great in my career from the Tottenham academy but IRL they did not live up to the hype. Josh Onomah was my favorite one. He was amazing in FIFA and Spurs fans were so excited for him in the academy. But he never worked out.

The weather, I think. It's been like that forever, or at least for as far as I remember. You may argue that the weather isn't that different from the British weather, but the money is also smaller and I suppose the clubs can't afford a proper heating of the pitch, which makes them impossible to play on during January/February.
At least we haven't done like Norway and Sweden, who play after the calendar year, starting the season in March and ending it in December (as far as I know).
In all three countries we are also seeing more and more clubs beginning to play on artificial grass, which is the case for both FC Nordsjælland and Silkeborg, just to name a few. Which is a huge nuisance for any club visiting them and being used to play on real grass.
