I'm being "FIFA'D" in my Brighton career but I am enjoying the twist. Spoiler coming.
I lost the FA cup match, my manager rating was pretty high but is now less than half full after losing the cup match. Some objectives I will not meet that are critical and those are about finances and buying 3 players from China which I did not do.
This could be the end of my Brighton run but I'm not ending the career, just finding a new club.
The question is, do I finish the season and see if they keep me? Or browse jobs now and try taking the best one possible and leave early?
Interesting twist there. Not accomplishing the cup objective often seems to have this effect on the manager rating. So I can't say I'm too surprised that your job is on the line at this point. But I like the idea of taking it as an opportunity to jump into unknown waters and continue somewhere else. I would probably be inclined to start over and be able to "control" the choice of club, whom to sign from the start and so on. But I like this other approach.
Finish the season or leave early? Well, I wouldn't mind looking at the available jobs, if it was me. And if something interesting came up, I would probably have a hard time letting it slip, because you never know what will come at you later on. But again, that's also just me wanting to control things. It could also be interesting to go the full mile and just accept what is left of opportunities.
