True. I find it hard to play in Italy too. But using the correct team names and logos in the writeups seem to make it a bit easier for me to "overcome" the challenge of playing against the false clubs. At least I had a pretty enjoyable start with Sampdoria in Serie B, until my laptop died and I was unable to retrieve the files from its drive. I imagine that I could have kept that going for a while, if that hadn't happened.
Italy is still my current first choice for a career in FC25. However, I've seen many new faces, stadiums etc i Germany and France, so a part of me also want to look in that direction. But - for now - Italy is still my number one choice. Haven't decided upon a club though, but I'll probably go with a Serie A club, contrary to starting in Serie B in FC24.
I know most of us use our own excel sheets for careers but there is an app "Football Career Mode Tracker" that is pretty neat if it is available in your area.
I probably will not use it because I like more custom stats but for anyone who likes keeping track of results, transfers, and the basic stats like goals, assists, etc. This app would be perfect.
