I know most of us use our own excel sheets for careers but there is an app "Football Career Mode Tracker" that is pretty neat if it is available in your area.
I probably will not use it because I like more custom stats but for anyone who likes keeping track of results, transfers, and the basic stats like goals, assists, etc. This app would be perfect.

Curious on anyones knowledge or memory of football games
In the 90s probably late 90s as pretty sure after 98 world Cup we had a football game which was purely International Teams and you could replay all the past World Cups including qualifying with real player names well at least some you did as I remember having England 66 squad. You even played the older world cups in black and white.
Does anyone here remember or know this game and what it was called? Couple of us been reminiscing over past games and this one has us stumped

Sorry, doesn't ring a bell. I remember a game with vintage club teams though. I believe it was called "This is Football". You could play with the Real Madrid team of the 1950's, Benfica and Inter Milan from the 1960's, Man United 1968, Ajax, Liverpool and Bayern from the 1970's, Barcelona and AC Milan in early 1990's etc. I'm sure there was more. I don't recall national teams being there too, but I can't rule it out either. I think this game was from 2003, give or take.
In that game there was also an opportunity to play with your youth team. So I suppose FIFA are only 20+ years behind 😉

The "World Cup Classics" mode allows the player to play fifteen classic FIFA World Cup matches. The 1982 match is unlocked by winning the "World Cup" mode, and by completing each unlocked game, the next one is unlocked in the order shown below. I "only" had the Road to World Cup game, so unfortunately I never tried this classics feature.
- @JustinCase0110 I remember playing indoor matches on one of the modes for a FIFA game in the 90s but I was very young so I do not remember much else.
FIFA 2010 is the first one that I really remember getting invested in and all of the games since. Watching YouTube videos of the old games, they had some really nice features that would be fun to bring back.
Same can be said for NFL and MLB games. For some reason they drop features that were really fun. Ah yes that'll be it. My friend at school had it on PC and I remember doing a swap with him for a few weeks for my version of Actual Soccer 2. Loved the game. Also remember This is Football had that on PS1 and remember being able to create on teams and kits as well

I don't remember any other football games with 4 vs 4 indoor games, except FIFA Street, where the game mechanics were much different.
I also had FIFA99, FIFA02 and FIFA04, the latter taking a huge step towards better player likeness etc. It was impossible to dribble though, so I scored half of my goals with long shots from midfielders. Signing a midfielder with a good shot in him, that was almost a cheat code, haha...
After FIFA04 I switched to PES for a while, much better gameplay then with players being able to do more individually. But from FIFA07 - the one with Rooney and Ronaldinho on the cover - I found myself back and have "stayed" ever since.
I wanna say FIFA 2000 had indoor training sessions too, I could be making that up, but definitely played another game with indoor that wasn't FIFA Street
Actually no I just quickly searched, it was FIFA 97. 2000 was the year of big heads, big ball and other weird quirks

I don't recall ever playing the 97 game, so can't rule that out. But FIFA98 Road to World Cup had the indoor games, I'm certain of that. Plus every effing national team around. One could start with Jamaica or India or whatever and qualify them for the world cup. That was brilliant, especially compared to now where three out of four teams in the Career Mode World Cups are from Europe...😞
I'm thinking of some changes to make to start my CM and keep it fresh.
I had two questions I'm curious for feedback on.
1. If Celtic and Rangers came to England. Should they start in league 1 or Championship?
2. If a team that finished top four in England was punished and lost their Champions league spot. Who should take it. The team that finished 5th or a team that won the FA cup or league cup?

1. Realistically for me it's Prem, for challenge it's Championship
2. 5th Place

Is one of my frustrations how we had more when we had less of that makes sense. I also get why we don't have all the teams, but doesn't mean it doesn't annoy me

Good question mate. I'll say 5th place in regards to question 2. So no Champions League spot to Man United, I'm afraid, when Man City are finally being sent to play in League Two.
In regards to question 1, I think it's a difficult question to answer now that more and more Premier League clubs have found themselves capable of signing very good and very expensive players in recent years. Just look at how a club like Southampton was able to sign Celtic's best players some years ago. Virgil van Dijk, Victor Wanyama, Stuart Armstrong and Fraser Forster. And perhaps there are more?
Don't get me wrong, Celtic and Rangers are massive clubs, but with the current financial state of Premier League clubs it's hardly fair to put any of them in the Prem at the expense of anyone. Well, maybe with Ipswich as the exception.
Just found the market values on transfermarkt to underline this point I'm trying to make. Celtic have €119,15m and Rangers have €78,15m. In the Premier League Ipswich has €161,10m as the poorest club. They, Leicester City on €263,90m and Southampton on €281,20m are the only clubs below a €340m market value.
You know what I'm going for lol. Man City being relegated for cheating, most of their players being moved abroad. My debate was do Spurs move into the Champions League (which seems bias if I made the decision alone) or should Man United take it.
I am thinking of putting Rangers in league one and Celtic in the Championship just to add a possibility of drawing them in a cup or possibly seeing them promoted.

Haha, obviously you were referring to Cheaty. I did a similar start last year with Sunderland, I believe, with Phil Foden staying, but almost everyone else being moved away. This was pretty enjoyable, finding myself in League One alongside the struggling Etihad side.
I do like these little twists to set up a story with a slightly different approach, giving it a more unique touch. This also tends to provide a few "story in the story" opportunities...

I did not realize that I can download FC 25 tomorrow. I preordered it and did not know a bonus was you get the game a week early.
I will finish up my FC 24 season tonight to find out what division Port Vale will be in to start next year!

Wow, crazy. Love it. I don't think I'll be getting it early, but I have started to write a little background and introduction info, so I'll be ready to kick off, when I receive the game. Looking forward to see how you get on with yours too.
