Contract negotiations glitch

I’m experiencing a glitch in FC24 Manager Career Mode where I cannot renegotiate a player’s contract, receiving the message: “You have already negotiated with this player recently.” This persists despite the player having two years left on their contract and listing themselves for transfer. I’m concerned they will leave the club if this isn’t resolved. I’ve tried waiting for a cooldown period, delegating the renewal, and managing the player’s morale, but the issue remains unresolved. I would appreciate any assistance or guidance on how to fix this issue.
