Creating a new Career mode as Goalkeeper forces you to play as CDM

Just as the title says. When starting a new career mode as a new created goalkeeper, after selecting your club you see the cutscenes of your player getting started at the club and once you hit the menu for the first time, you can see in the top right corner that youre position is now CDM. You cant change it, whenever you try to it goes back to CDM instantly and your trainer on top of that lookses like 30% of this morale towards you. Tried it with 3 different clubs and new players now, always the same outcome. Keeps forcing me to be a CDM.
