I created players in game settings and added them in the teams etc., but when I played like a 1 year of the career thy changed appearance, position, rating, etc. and if I want to search for them it shows me two different players wtih the same appearance, but when I click on one it shows me nothing. How can I fix/prevent the player to get changed (appearance, etc.) and have there only the correct one ?

@UrielTritton Yesterday, I spent about 6 hours straight trying to see if I noticed any exclusion patterns, and I can say that changing the kit styles helps save them. Unfortunately, there's still a possibility of them being deleted, but sometimes I managed to keep 22 out of 23, for example. Without changing the kit styles, I would lose 8/9 per season

It seems this problem arose from a later update, as i have 2 career modes with created players, one from November 2023 (which still works after 4 seasons) and one from April 2024 (which doesn't work after 1 season).
I followed the steps listed out and it worked for another season. I tried it for the following for the following season and I can't get it to work again. I'll try again later. I don't have the patience right now.
It seems to be random tbh, i don't know what can i do anymore, I just give up trying as I have 23 created players, i just screenshot their evolution through season and manually edit to start a new one. Until they fix this i gonna do this over and over. This just sucks.
Hi I've had this problem too and its very frustrating.
I commented this in another thread but thought I'd add it here too that my other problem with created players is the fact EA has not incorporated their gameplay improvements into their customisation. Work rates, playstyles, body types, important stats like Defensive Awareness and Composure and acceleration types have all been left out of player creation.
Is anyone else finding created players to be struggling to keep up with real players because of this? It's always been like this but this year, with playstyles, it feels like there is an even bigger gap.
I’ve had this problem many a time, I like to redo players careers, for example I did Zlatan’s career where I started at Malmö as the manager with the zlatan created pro in the squad and then took managerial jobs based on the club he played for next, I released the pro I made of him each time, then signed him on a free. I’m doing one at the minute with a created pro and this kept happening, I tried playing around with saves and stuff to counter the bug and got this method.
Make a save.
Then change one of your team sheets, which over rights the auto save, then back out using auto save and quit.
Then go to settings - profile - delete, then delete the auto save you just made.
Go back to career mode using load career mode and load the save you initially made.
Then go to save game, delete that save and make a new one
Advance to next season and the player should be there
I’ve done a lot of trial and error with this and this way seems to work, I started by just randomly deleting saves and making new ones and stuff like that until I landed on this method
I'm still having this issue, even after the second season of my created career mode.
I did the sleeve change at the end of my first season and it worked 🙂
But it didn't work for the second season ffs
