@CO88LER5 beat me to it, but Blackburn vs Preston, that's just peak early English football royalty there. What a draw for nostalgic football fans.

Great final run to make it to the playoffs, making yourself a target for revenge from the Saints. Let's see if end up regretting that, if they beat you in the final. A lot of "What if's" could suddenly occur. Would Leicester have been an easier opponent then? Hard to tell. And in the end you still need to get past Preston anyway...

    So close, to get to the playoff final and then lose.
    At least this gives you the chance to build further and maybe get promotion next season as an even stronger side.

    @CO88LER5 Whilst it's disappointed to lose in playoff final I'm still kinda on track with a few curve balls. I didn't expect to get promoted this season especially after the start as I matched the irl first 10 results.

    For potential enjoyment it's good not to have got promoted, gives me a chance to work on some youth players and more game time for majority of squad with extra fixtures etc. Hopefully new season brings more joy
