Unfortunately it appears that an update made a few weeks/months ago has made club names nearly impossible to create.
So far EA are choosing to ignore the issue and not take ownership of it (it appears they use a 3rd party company) despite multiple posts about this issue per day/week.
The only advice I have is using random letters or numbers, and even that will take some trial and error.
Try just numbers or some other random string that doesn't appear to "spell" any "words". Using the same letter 4 or 5 times seems to work too.
Our club name that we've used for 15 years was recently banned for being offensive - TFF 08.
Nothing else we can do until EA decide to agree that this is a game breaking issue.
