Potentially a few 'What Ifs' in this scenario

If the winners of the Champions League and the Winners of The Europa League happened to be from The Premier League and neither side finished in the top 4 or even 1 maybe then that would mean 4th place gets demoted to Europa League because a maximum of 5 clubs can be in Champions League from Premier League.

This is only reason I can think of for that to have happened
