Instantly Terminated From My Own Team

I am getting instantly terminated in my career mode after about 2-3 days. Let me give some context.

I have just spent roughly 2 hours creating my own MLS team and intricately researching transfers for my team. One of my team's objectives was to sign a veteran player, and I figured this objective would fit very nicely into the "world-building" of my team. You see, the MLS currently has salary caps on teams, whereupon up to 3 players on a team are allowed to make a salary that is above the individual player cap (for reference, this is why most MLS teams will have 1 really good veteran player who's overall is 80+, and the rest of the team will be in the high 60's and low 70's). Therefore, what I did is I signed Ilkay Gundogan on my team as my team's "above the salary cap" player.

Here's the issue:

Since Gundogan makes so much more than everyone else on the team, I'm being auto-terminated from the club that I created. This is, of course, despite the actual realism of how a club in the MLS operates regarding individual player salaries.

I'm not joking when I say that I just spent 2 hours creating my team and intricately creating a transfer list of players I would like that'll fit my vision for my team. I genuinely just do not understand how this game can force me to not play with the team that I just created, for making my team more realistic. The point of creating a team is that you're *literally* creating your own team, so why am I being terminated from it less than a week after starting the team?

I've tried raising the salaries of other players to bring the average up, and that doesn't work (I also then blow away ALL of my remaining transfer budget). I also don't have any save files from before I signed Gundogan, as I saved right after signing him.

EA, for the love of God please fix this. I don't feel like I'm asking for much.
