Bug or no bug. The board objective just seems to be rather strict, when it comes to the domestic objective. So if you don't achieve their goal in the DfB-pokal, for instance, your manager rating will suffer from it. And it's kind of a monthly drainage or something, so if you lose a cup game in October, then your manager rating will gradually decline over several months, and you will most likely be sacked during the spring. Regardless of your other achievements. Missing out on it at the end of the season doesn't seem to have the same negative impact, since it's the decline over several months that's what you would want to avoid. Hope it makes sense.
