Players with a pre-contract agreement will join in the winter window instead of in the summer. Meaning players with six months left on their contract are leaving their teams mid season. This is hugely game-breaking. (I have transfer negotiations set to strict)
I play all games manually following the 25 squad size rule and this has completely ruined my experience.
