My Player Career Mode - Transfers

I completely agree with every point, especially the first one. If EA were to introduce a 'Contract Talks cutscene' like they have in Manager Career, this would be increase the authenticity that this mode is after. Furthermore it would visually show your player interacting with his manager and agent, which is something that happens in real life in these very situations.

Here you could go back and forth as you negotiate your wage and contract length, this would solve the 'Unable to renew player contract' issue which almost everyone seems to have.

I totally agree! This years player career mode has been frustrating. At first I thought it was pretty cool that you could assign a target club but that’s about it.

It’s very frustrating that you can’t make a move mid season to another club; you can’t request a transfer and you have to accomplish all these insane tasks. Like score 15 bicycle kick goals; give 80 assists and have dinner with Messi. And if you don’t you have to go to a new team. It’s so frustrating. One season I almost won a treble with Real Madrid, just short of copa del Rey and I was determined to win it the next season but they didn’t take me back because I didn’t give 33 assists in the season. And this is only because my player tore his ACL and was out for 7 months and they didn’t slightly change the demands. I had to rack up 33 assists in like 15 games. That’s frustrating. I haven’t been able to stay at a team longer that 2 years. Very, very unrealistic and annoying. 

I really beg you folks at EAFC; please change this. I don’t like this new feature. I just wanna be able to enjoy a cool career, work my way up, get contracts, have the freedom to stay with one club or move mid season if I’m not feeling the playing style etc. And I think I speak for most of the FIFA/FC community. Please change that, it’s so incredibly frustrating!!

@Rashfromthe7That’s so true! I hate the sweat and try hards of ultimate team! Career mode is more enjoyable despite these frustrating issues but it has the potential to be such a fun and enjoyable game mode!

@Peaty17HFC that’s awesome! Yeah that’s really a bummer. I played at many clubs and I couldn’t win the UCL until Real Madrid that one season and not having multiple year contracts really sucks cause I got dropped the year after winning UCL. 

another thing. Vini got the ballon d’or in the year I played with him and he was on the bench. The whole year!! I won UCL, WC and La Liga and the golden boot on all of those and I wasn’t even nominated
