That time of the year. You release another Football Game. The first iteration of the FC Franchise. FC 24.
I'd just like to say a few things and then I'll get to Clubs and the various issues which need to be resolved.
FC 24 represents a great step-up to Football realism. The passing is alot more realistic, especially ground passing, camera angles are great. Cinematics of players within dressing rooms, walking behind the scenes etc, all add to the authenticity of FC 24. I feel it's a good foundation for a new franchise.
However.
Lets be clear. You guys have been creating these Games, year after year. And the same problems have consisted, year after year. I'm baffled you haven't been taken to court by consumers because the evidence is clear to see. Server Issues for years. Constant unfinished content within the Game (placeholders, glitches, bugs).
Lets look at the evidence for Clubs.
Closed Beta - 2 weeks.
During these 2 weeks. What was the Main Issue which was highlighted and acknowledged? - "not being able to connect to a match when players are ready".
That's 2 weeks before the major Launch of a new Football Franchise.
FC 24 launched on 22nd September. That was 2 weeks yesterday. Given the evidence. You've sold an unfinished product to consumers, based on the evidence and factual context, that Players cannot play the designated Mode you have provided.
Now. Is this a Cross-play issue? Is this an issue that is wider than that? - Please give your consumers context as to what the main issues are when it comes to Players connecting but they cannot launch the Match due to your issues.
Have you ever studied Marketing? or studied Services and Manufacturing? One thing is clear. When you are a Service Provider. You make promises to your consumers. As such, consumers buy your products, based on trust, loyalty and overall quality of the product.
Your job as a service provider has failed due to your incompetance. You've failed to deliver a high quality product, due to several issues (consumers only need to visit your Trello segment and screenshot every single issue your product currently has).
Based on that evidence, we as consumers urge you to be honest and transparent regarding your issues. And provide us the context as to why you are having these issues which is affecting gameplay on a daily basis (before launch and post-launch). You've had ample time to explain what solutions you are putting in place so that these issues don't arise again. You cannot think, consumers deserve an unfinished product, until FC 25 releases. That would be highly unprofessional and unethical.
So please Developers. Be honest and upfront. You've provided a product with numerous GameModes. It's your job as a service provider, to make sure you provide a high quality product. That is your promise to consumers. Based on the Premium Prices you charge your consumers, it's the very least they deserve.
