Figured out that sometimes the Lobby kinda get a "Softlock"...
Its not a Workaround or a 100% solution, but it worked for me much better than anything i tried so far. Was able to play about 30+ games in the past two days (not played that long).
Im on PS5, so i dont know if it is the same for the other platforms.
Start Fifa, go in the Club-Mode. First thing you wanna do is: go in the Player Editor, make sure you select a face from the presets, as known, do not edit/morph the face.
Than, go to your Skill-Tree, take out any assigned skill and put it back on.
Go to the Drop-ins (disable Crossplay) and start a search for a Match. If you lucky, first try is a hit.
On some point, you get the usually Message, that the connection to opponent is lost or whatever. So you alone in the Lobby (again) and want to search (again)...
But now, keep an eye on the Lobby. Press (R2) or klick on the big (+) Symbol, usually there should pop-up a Window, where you can invite people.
If it pop-up, its okay, than close it, continue search for a match.
But sometimes, if you got the Message that you lost connection or whatever, the Lobby can "Softlock".
You can see, if you press (R2) or click the big (+) and nothing happen.
At this state, don´t continue searching for a game, because now its kinda "softlocked", it can took an eternity until you find a match. Instead of continue searching, leave the Lobby and go back in, search again.
So, as long you can open the invite pop-up, after you got the "infamous lost connection or opponent left or whatever", keep searching, until to that point you can´t open the invite screen anymore after a failed search, than leave the lobby and try again.
With that, i was able to play much more games instead of keep searching for 20-30 Minutes to play only one damn game.
