Not qualified for Conference League

I finished seventh in the Bundesliga and the team that won the DFB-Pokal is already qualified for the Champions League, since they finished third in the Bundesliga. In reality I should be the team who will play in the Conference League in the upcoming season, but the game says I’m not. In the game it is still the sixth placed team that is going to play in the Conference League. Does the game not know this rule?
