Nothing to play for in Elite Division on pro clubs - WHY?!!

We have just been promoted to Elite Division on EA FC 24 pro clubs and now there is nothing to play for. It says "points required: 0". There is no trophy to win, there is no relegation. We are just s...

Yes, it doesn't make sense. I hope EA has a plan going forward after the first playoffs in a few days. Otherwise it will be pointless to be stuck there for a whole year without any motive.
