There is no "fix" as such.
Unfortunately untill EA rectify this situation you just have to find something that works.
You could keep trying names you'd like to use and hopefully one of them will bypass the overly restrictive ban list.
If you really want to play and don't care about the name, try just numbers, or letters that don't resemble any word. The more random the better.
It's ridiculous that we have to go to these lengths but until EA take ownership of this situation that's about all you can do.
