Player’s value changing in ea fc 24

Whenever I sign a player their value increases or decreases by a bout 9-12%, usually decreasing. As the photo shows my player decreases by 11%. I have already told an EA member and they said that it was a ‘bug’ however it has been happening for multiple FIFA’s so I don’t think it is. Please help me fix this.
