Player career auto changing position

Question

I was in the middle of my striker player career mode with 83 overall then i saw that my overall went down to a 74 and my position went from ST to CAM. I tried changing it back to ST but it didnt change anything.

Then i finally figured it out by resetting all skill points and changing to ST. I got my overall back but the coach put me in the reserve. Does anyone know how to fix this without losing manager favor.

Have the exact same issue, wanted to start a new career as a tall CM and it forces me to be a 5'10 CF. No matter how many times I switch back in the edit pro section, as soon as I click advance and come out of it im right back to being a CF. I know this company does not care about anything except the profit it makes but its pretty embarrassing how even the most basic feature doesn't work properly.&nbsp;
