Player career end of season bug

Hi,

Reached the end of the season in player career while playing the euros.

The last day of the season is the same day as a game, after the game it tells me to end the season but in the renew or choose new team menu there is no choose a new team or renew button.

Another thread was closed saying a fix was implemented, but clearly not. I refuse to start all over again, if only I could get a refund.

Are there no workarounds?
