Pro Clubs between PS4 and PS5

Hi,

I know previously I’ve had to buy the digital versions of FIFA to play Pro Clubs as I play on PS5 and had to buy the PS4 edition to play with friends who were on PS4. I want to buy the disc version for PS5 this year but want to check first, do I still need to buy the digital version and download the PS4 edition of FC24 or can I now play across generations but on the PS5 edition? I know they’ve been talking about cross gen being in the game and stuff so I wanted to check.

    There is no old gen / new gen cross play, so you'll still need both copies.

    From how I understand it:

    - Digital includes both PS4 & PS5
    - PS4 Disc version includes a free upgrade to PS5
    - PS5 Disc version only includes PS5 version, no upgrade included.

    Double check, but if you buy the PS5 disc version you're likely to be disappointed by not having the PS4 version included and have to fork out more cash to get the other version on top.

    Ah ok that’s annoying but thanks for clearing that up for me. Guess I will have to just get the digital one.
