Pro's face customisations keep resetting

My pro's face customisations keep resetting on its own. The skin complexion, beard, and hairstyle (including colour) remain the way I set them but everything else (eyes, ears, etc) goes back to being set as the first option in that category without any morphs.

I noticed it usually happens after 2-3 failed dropin searches. Also noticed that the 'Commentary name' in avatar gets glitchy when this happens. The game crashes if I click on it after the face reset. Usually the customisations come back when I start the game after this crash. I tried keeping it blank but it sets to something (like known as or last name) on its own after face reset.

I have tried lots of things like keeping "known as" and "commentary name" blank but it still won't fix anything. I try exiting the dropins lobby or even the clubs menu after every failed search but it still happens. I even tried reinstalling the game but the issue hasn't resolved.

I only bought the game for clubs and not being able to use a pro with my customisations is a deal breaker for me. I don't wanna keep restarting the game after every match or worse set up face customisations again and again. Please let me know if anyone has faced a similar issue or got any suggestions on how to fix this.
