Re: FC 24 Pro Clubs Terrible Gameplay
Hopped on again today and it's the same story. Losing many games in a row, often in extra time or by a last minute goal. It just feels like I can't pull off anything I want to do; as if there's a huge "error rate" to all my passes. We got in a goalkeeper from a post who'd played 12 matches as a gk and was underleveled. Naturally I kicked him because he was obviously trying to troll. He then sends me abusive messages. Why is the fc24 community so toxic? Could it be the game is badly made, and so apathy rises and thus trolls thrive?
We had to go thru 2 or 3 people in each position until we had a decent squad. Each of these people got a game where they tried to throw matches or play very badly. Why do we have to do this? Are other games like this or just fifa?
This is a relatively new club we made that got up to div 1 basically straight away. We have 82 rated bots. The team has played about 50 games. Before the last few days the record was very good. We have 3.5 million fans and only just reached 3.5m. That is reputation level 4.
My older club which I made more or less when ea 24 came out has played 30-40 odd games per season for the 3 seasons since it came out and has ok records in those seasons. And it has 3 millions fans and 82 rated ai.
I decided to check the last few teams we played against who beat us to see their records. This isn't easy to do in fc24. On 23 you had your last 5 results displayed (inexplicably down from 20 in fifa 22) and could click into a result to see that other clubs stats. You have to use the calendar to see the clubs you've played against now.
Speaking of the calendar, they seem to be glitched. The whole idea is it shows you who you played against on any given day but they seem to erase any results over 1 day old... and so defeat the point of themselves. Oh well! Just another badly implemented feature. Who coded this game? The game feels like a kind of student science project and less of a polished commercial release. By the way the calendar also starts on Current Season Date (doesn't go further back than about a month) and is clunky to use.
This time you have to look at the calendar and then leave that page and remember the club name and just type the club name in Club Search. It's clunky but you can look at their team this way
I did this for an experiment and literally every team we played had 86 or 88 rated bots. They all had 15 million fans or more.
What was weird was that they seemed to have played less games than my OG team which was sitting on 82 bots.
I just don't understand how this works and frankly I don't care to find out. Im going to stop playing 24 and just play 23. Every time we hop on 23, we score goals good enough to screen record, we play well and make memories.
24 is a slog, the matchmaking system is badly implemented and the gameplay is disgustingly bad.
