PC can only play with Xbox Series X/S and PS5. Unfortunately, PC players cannot join Xbox One and PS4 players. You can find more details on crossplay here.

Ah, bit inconvenient. Do you have any idea why theyve done this? Also is it possible to refund EAFC.

I imagine it has to do with a technical reason. This is how crossplay works in our other sports games as well. As far as a refund goes, you'll need to contact the retailer the game was purchased from to see if that's possible. If you purchased through the EA App, you can open a case with an advisor here.
Ah I see, do you think that EAFC will feature cross play between old gen and pc in the future? It will make their game a whole lot better.
