Hey Everyone, to those who are still unable to renew their contract in Player Career, feel free to report the issue and upload your screenshots here.

I made a thread in bug reports but im going to delete it and repost it here: So I was discussing the issue i have been having with career mode where I literally cannot continue my career due to a bug (link here: https://answers.ea.com/t5/Career-Mode/Player-Career-cant-renew-contract/m-p/13684044#M2215) and it was closed by a staff member because they said it was addressed in Patch 11 which came out in March. Clearly the issue has not been fixed because many people were reporting the error still happening to them well after that patch was put out so im not sure why it was closed. I submitted a video of it happening to me a couple days ago and after checking today it is still persistent. My last match is an international match. When i go to end the season, it not only shows incorrect final stats for the season, but it will not let me renew my current contract or sign a new one despite me completing every single mandatory and optional objective so i have no way of continuing my career until this is fixed. I will include the video of this happening that i posted in the original thread

Update : I reloaded my saved file from when I was with B04. I signed with RB Leipzig again and simmed most of the season. one thing I noticed is that the European championship games dates changed and was not on the last day of the season. I was able to resign with RB with no issue. I believe it has something to do with the euro championship being on the last day of the year that caused the glitch. One more thing I do during career mode is I save my game a couple days before the end of the season. I then sign with my team again and then check to see what the contract terms are. If I don’t like them I go back to the save file until I find terms I like.

Title: Issue with Career Progression in Player Career ModeContent:During the latter stages of the 5th year in Career Mode, when attempting to negotiate a contract renewal with the club before the quarter-finals of the Euro Championship (against Belgium), an error occurs that causes the game to crash. As a workaround, I tried playing the semi-finals of the Euro Championship before attempting the contract negotiation. However, after completing the semi-final match and returning to the central hub, I am only presented with the option to end the season, with the choices being limited to "Change Club" or "Select a New Club." Moreover, at this point, I am unable to even choose a new club. Despite having fulfilled all the contract objectives for the current club and having only one incomplete wage objective, this inability to negotiate a contract is unprecedented in my experience with Career Mode. Ultimately, I find myself trapped in Player Career Mode without the ability to progress or retreat, completely halted. While I discovered similar issues that were supposedly resolved in the past with Patch 11, which led to the closure of those topics, it is disappointing to note that I am already using Patch 11. Nonetheless, users like myself continue to face the same problem, disrupting our gameplay experiences. When will this issue be resolved? What steps is EA taking to address this issue?...I am a Japanese student, and I apologize for any shortcomings in my English.

I’ve had the same exact issue as others are having twice now. - played several seasons(can’t remember how many) when the glitch happened. I transferred to a number of clubs. - created new career and was able to play until I was forced to retire. Played with Real Madrid entire career. - created a new career again about 5 seasons with BO4. Decided to sign with RB Leipzig. Played one season and got the glitch again. - both glitches happened on the last day of the season playing the euro championship. - can’t renew contract, can’t sign with anyone else. Smh

Is EA trying to fix the problem? A great game that I used to play every day until this bug occurred has now become a decoration that I haven't played for about a month. That's very sad. Maybe one of the saddest things is that I can't see EA trying to deal with this situation. I want a fix for this bug ASAP.

Hey @montez_1001 I’ve had no issues since the issue was resolved, which is great as I’ve been able to take my local team from League 2 all the way to the Premier League!
But I understand players are still being affected by the issue, which I believe is still being looked at.

I'm now into my fourth Season, after having encountered the issue at the end of my second season. Since then I've been able to renew my contract every season since!
