Given the situation they are in, can they afford to go on holiday? They need to stay working on this...🙂 The Conference League won't get you the same funding as the Champions League does. And obviously it won't be the same attraction for new players neither.
But apart from that you could actually turn this into a profitable opportunity to make a run for a European title. If you can build a momentum there (against less profilic opponents), then you might be able to do the same in the Europa League in the following season - equivalent of my own Man United career... The Conference League could turn out to be benificial for you...
