I really like the Sandler signing. He was quite highly rated in his youth, hopefully he can be a good player for you now. I would probably be tempted to use Teden Mengi the most myself though, having also just signed him as a backup in my own career. A good young player IMO, and I second @CO88LER5 that he shouldn't have been let go in the first place. However, sometimes players just want regular first team football, and if he wasn't ready to do it at United, then I don't think that one should hold him back against his wishes.

A key period upcoming, then.
Maybe the Heracles experience exposes that your squad doesn't yet have strength in depth. Of course, when it does, the issue then becomes how do you keep them all happy and not demanding transfers?

Interesting challenges coming up...Indeed: an extra goalkeeper, central defender and winger would be kindly seen; though the latter two could be solved by recalling players from loan.
Getting a little vibe from my Rangers career, where domestic games were really easy, so all I played for was the midweek games in Europe. Of course there was the defeat vs Vitesse and recent draw vs Heracles, but apart from that it's been 3-0, 4-0, 3-0 and 7-1 wins in the league.
Good start in Europe too, beating what has to be the hardest of opponents in the group. I anticipate a good run for Ajax in this tournament. Newcastle and Atalanta may be your main competition, along with a few potential Europa League dropouts perhaps.
